C17 boulder-built byre with near-contemporary addition to the upper end, the whole raised C19. Old slate roofs and weather-coursing at the intersection of the primary block and the raised upper section. Entrance with boarded door to lower section (off-centre R) with small square light to L. 2 ventilation slits to the upper block on both sides with a further boarded door to the rear. Double stable doors to the rear of the primary block. Plain C19 trusses.
