Mid C19 monument to Capt. T. Jenkins of the East India Company.
Table tomb in large square railed enclosure. Tomb has lettered slab on heavily moulded low plinth. Inscription to Captain Thomas Jenkins (d1853 aged 75), his wife Jane and other family members. Railings are on heavy ashlar low coping. Spearhead iron rails and gate. Gateposts appear to be two re-used small naval cannon upended and have matching spearheads attached.
Use of cannon for gateposts is very unusual. Good quality railings.
Group value with St Cynwyl's Church.
