Built as a weighhouse at the toll-gate on the Holyhead Turnpike Road, some time between 1815-30. Disused.
A small, rough-rubble hut, with renewed overhanging slate roof. Paired entrances with flat stone lintels in W side, single entrance to E, and blind segmentally arched panel beneath gable facing the road, formerly holding the notice of tolls.
A rare (and possibly unique) surviving example of a weigh house building, which forms a group with the toll-house on the opposite side of the road.
