Probably built in the late C18 (possibly replacing an earlier building on the site). Roughly coursed and squared rubble, slate roof with slate verges. 2 storeyed, long 2-unit plan with integral rear wing. Gable end stacks, including to wing. Central entrance, flanked on each floor by 8-pane windows. Splayed voussoir heads to lower openings. Inserted window and doorway in rear wall. Rear wing has fixed 6-pane window with voussoir head to ground floor and small 2-light window below eaves in outer face, and doorway in angle of inner face with 6-pane fixed light window alongside it. Fixed iron-pane window to first floor.
A very well-preserved example of a substantial and well-built upland vernacular farmhouse of the late C18.
