Dated 1729. Drying House associated with the adjoining mill.
An early C18 rubble-built 4-bay vernacular drying house with massive boulder foundations, partly built onto rock; rubble parapet gables; corrugated iron roof. Entrance to L on E side with recessed boarded door; further entrance to N gable end with original pegged wooden doorcase, the lintel inscribed: 'M O 1729'; boarded door. Ventilation slits to both gable ends.
Listed as a rare example of a dated vernacular regional corn drying house.
