History

Probably early C19, single storey house, marked on 1840 Tithe Map.

Exterior

Earlier C19 single-storey house in colourwashed rubble stone with corrugated iron roof and stone end stacks, larger to right. Front wall has small fire-window to left, and sixteen-pane casement with slate sill and slab lintel each side of centre ledged door. Outbuilding to left with lower roof, whitewashed wall and two doors.

Reasons for Listing

Included as the least altered example of a single storey cottage in the area.
