A circular dovecot of late-Medieval type, though probably late C17/early C18. Rubble (originally rendered) with brick inner lining containing 13 tiers of arched, plastered nesting holes. The dovecot
is roofless and a section of walling at the former entrance side has collaspsed. It seems probable that the thin rubble shell and the brick lining are contemporary, which would preclude a Medieval
dating. It is, however, possible that the present building is a remodelling of an earlier one.
Included for group value with The Tower.
