Possibly C17 and the former north boundary wall of the castle grounds, to south of the site of old St Fagans Church and Churchyard, as shown on the Plymouth Estate Plan of 1766. The wall was kept deliberately ('Our old old friend the ivy green/Helps to enrich the picturesque scene') as a part of the garden improvements by James Pulham & Co. between 1874-6.
Old wall of stone rubble, broken in several places and now very overgrown by ivy. An opening with stone dressings set within the wall.
Included as one of the structures associated with the gardens and estate of St. Fagans Castle.
