Probably early C19, but quite different in character and apparently older than the wall down to the west end of the Cathedral. John Speed in 1610 shows a stream running from St. Teilo's spring down both lines and no walls at all. A photograph of the Cathedral in c1855 shows the wall in place.
Wall of local stone rubble with rough, rounded coping which runs from a point where it joins the garden wall to the rear of The White House downhill past the Cathedral. Interrupted by two gateways and by a stile of Radyr stone. It is about 1m in height.
Included for group value with the Cathedral.
