Mid C19. Probably contemporary with the construction of The Lodge, at least in part. It may have earlier origins, but ancient fabric is not now evident.
Wall of thinly coursed local lias stone rubble with rendered coping, which is about 2.25m in height and runs for about 200m on the south-west side of the lane from High Street to Cardiff Road.
