History

Former animal shelter or stable converted to storeyed granary. Possibly late C16/early C17 origin.

Exterior

Two storeys, steep corrugated iron roof, squared rubble wall, raised gable ends. Three pointed (partly blocked) openings to N side, centre opening with chamfered dressed head (re-used?). Top left has spoked drivewheel on projecting spindle (to power internal feed machinery). Three-bay pegged A-frame roof trusses. Pair of splayed vents over lean-to extension facing house; offset door to W gable; double loading doors to rear.

Listed grade II for group value with Sutton.
