Medieval, probably late C15 for the cross remains and probably C18 for the sundial conversion.
Limestone base and lower part of the shaft of a churchyard cross, capped by a bronze sundial. Square medieval base with a large roll moulding at the top and, embedded in it, a much smaller square medieval base with stops at the angles and rising out of it, a truncated octagonal medieval cross-shaft. The bronze sundial at the top is inscribed as being the work of J King, optician, 2 Clare Street, Bristol.
Included for its special interest as the relic of a medieval cross, and for its group value with the Church of the Holy Trinity.
