Exterior

Mid C19 house in rubble stone with imitation slate roof and stone end wall stacks, larger to right. Stonework has a considerable amount of purple sandstone included. Two-storey, double-fronted with 4-pane sashes, centre ledged door, ground floor red-brick heads and slate sills. Outshut rear. Single-storey left end outbuilding with 4-pane sash and brick head.

Reasons for Listing

A little altered traditional house, the brick window heads probably indicating a later date than is suggested by the outshut rear and big right-hand chimney.

Not marked on 1841 Tithe Map, but on 1891 OS map.
