Last survivor of four kilns at Abercastle, shown on map in 1815 map book of Bishops of St Davids in National Library of Wales. On slope above were remains of lime-burners hut.
Early C19 circular lime kiln in rubble stone with two tall opposed kiln-eyes and circular top opening to crucible. Kiln eyes are of typical Dewisland type with short straight sides and long tapering triangular heads. Rubble embanking wall each side.
