A farmhouse of different plan is shown on 1840 Tithe Map.
Mid C19 farmhouse in square rubble stone with grouted slate low-pitched roof and rendered stone end stacks. Two-storey three-window front of sashes with painted brick heads and raised keystones. Slate sills. 12-pane sashes above, plate glass sashes below and centre half-glazed door with plain overlight. Rendered W end wall and outshut rear. Lower two-storey range to right with grouted slate roof, two windows above, one 12-pane sash below; blocked centre door and derelict outbuilding attached to right. East gable end is collapsed (1989).
Front garden: enclosed by rubble walls.
Included as good example of C19 farmhouse, typical of the region.
