History

C19 end-terraced house, possibly a later addition or service range to the larger No 12 adjoining, with which it has a continuous roof line. There is a building on the site on the 1844 tithe map, but possibly smaller than the present Nos 10-12. Both are on the OS 25" map of 1889.

Exterior

Terraced house, unpainted roughcast with slate close-eaved roof and roughcast right end stack. Two-storey, 2-window range of C20 plate glass sashes and C20 door in left bay. Left bay is close against the end wall of No 12.

Reasons for Listing

Included for group value with No 12, and as part of the sequence of houses on the S side of Bridge St.
