Built in the C18 or early C19.
C18 or early C19 pigsty in rough rubble stone on a circular plan, the constructional technique is reminiscent of Early Christian beehive huts. Squat proportions with rough domed roof. Dressed stone lintel to low animal entry to W, abutting boundary wall.
Circular interior with stone corbelled domed vault.
Included as a very rare and unusual example of a disappearing building type.
