History

Mid C19. This part of Marine Terrace is not marked on 1847 Tithe Map, but is on 1887 Ordnance Survey map.

Exterior

Pair of houses, painted stucco with stone end stacks and slate roof. Two-storey mirrored two-window houses with flat eaves, two-storey corniced outer bay windows and inner 12-pane sashes over arched doorways. Bays have 4-12-4-pane sashes and thin cornices, and each house has later dormer.

Reasons for Listing

Included as pair of late Georgian style houses, with bay windows unusual in New Quay.
