Circa 1840.
Farmhouse in rubble stone with slate roof and stone end stacks. Two-storey 4-window range of cambered-headed windows with stone voussoirs and stone sills. Lower openings have recessed voussoirs and raised keystone. Original sashes all replaced in plastic. Outshut rear. Attached to right is lower service range with end stack, door to left, window each floor to right. Stone voussoirs. Attached beyond, at lower level due to slope of ground, is late C19 lofted outbuilding with 4 brick-headed doors and one small loft window.
House has massive stone arched kitchen fireplace.
Attached at left end of house, at right angles, is late C19 lofted cartshed, with broad yellow-brick elliptical-arched cart entry, door and window, also with yellow-brick heads, one small centre loft window above. Stone outside steps on end wall to loft door with dove holes in gable.
House has rubble forecourt wall with low wire railings and gate between split stone gate piers.
