History

Said to have been founded 1870, marked on 1891 Ordnance Survey.

Exterior

Late C19 woollen mill, rubble stone, 2 storeys and attic with slate roof. Seven-window range of 9-pane windows with stone voussoirs and slate sills; windows in 6 bays, doors each floor in seventh to left, double doors each floor, those on ground floor widened. W end wall has 3-window range and single attic window in gable.
East end wall has large iron overshot water-wheel made by Cardigan Engineering Co.

Reasons for Listing

One of only 3 remaining late C19 woollen mills in the area still with water wheels, and substantially unaltered.
