Exterior

Early C19 small cottage in whitewashed rubble stone with grouted slate roof. Double-fronted low 2-storey cottage with end stacks, and outbuilding (possibly former cottage) to east, to similar height. Cottage has tall brick west stack, stone east stack on ridge, two first floor 9-pane casements and 2 12-pane sashes and centre door to ground floor, all with cambered painted brick heads. Ground floor window in west end wall.

Outbuilding to right has small fixed window under eaves, over 12-pane ground floor window and ledged door to right. Cambered brick heads.

Reasons for Listing

A good example of small traditional house, rare in the area.
