Mid C19 inn, whitewashed roughcast with slate roof and brick N end stack. Two storey 3-window range with raised cement labels over windows, similar to those on other buildings in Bridge Street; 4-pane sashes with slate sills. Centre double doors in timber open porch with tent roof. Between upper centre and right windows, timber inn sign with carved and painted bell.
Rubble stone rear wing.
Detached to N, though 1889 Ordnance Survey map shows projecting building between The Blue Bell and The Bunch of Grapes.
