Exterior

Probably C16 in origin. Appears to be refronted one-and-a-half storey hall block with 2-storey crosswing. Later ranges to south and east including service wing, stable and traphouse. Mainly rubble-built, stone tile roof to front, slate to rear. Crosswing partly rendered, east side wall has exposed square-panel timber-framing, front gable end rebuilt in rock-faced rubble incorporating corner stack with tall brick upper. Slate-hung dormers to front and rear of "hall" range. Boarded doors, various C19/20 small-paned timber casements, front gable has cambered voussoir lintels.

Interior not inspected.
