Exterior

Tall and narrow coursed rubble building with gable end to street, in use as the fire station by 1901 (mentioned on OS Map) and probably converted from an earlier C19 agricultural building. Slate roof, plain bargeboards, wide eaves. Roughcast gable, weatherboarding to upper part of front with one 2-light window. Double boarded doors below with letter box set into the wall to the left. 2-pane window to right side. Building narrows to rear and turns slightly east with cambered heads to door and window openings.
