Exterior

C18. Two storeys. To north a lower range - former hackney stable converted to domestic accommodation; to rear is C18 wing under catslide roof and C19 taller gabled wing. Rubble stone, overpainted, slate roof, two end stacks. Central modern glazed door, five-window range, all sixteen-pane sashes renewed under timber lintels. Metal framed windows to rear.

Interior

Much modernised. C18 stairs with beaded square newel and ogee string moulding. Cellar and attics.

Reasons for Listing

An imposing Georgian facade overlooking a small green to E, group value with Upper House and the castle earthworks.
