Late C17 to C18 in origin. There were formerly more cottages to the SE as shown on Plan of Brecknock of 1834.
Cottage. Stone walls, pebbledashed, but brick E end wall, also pebbledashed. Slate roof with chimney at W end. From L to R, N elevation with one dormer with a two-light window beneath it; similar window to L of modern boarded porch; small window also to R of porch. Upper floor window in E gable end.
Room to R has unusually high ceiling.
Cottage with early origins; Group Value with adjacent cobbled steps and No.1 King Street.
