Early C19 exterior to stone building with late C16 to C17 core.
Shop with accommodation above. Cement-rendered 3-window front to High Street with mid to later C19 details; pyramidal slate roof; modillion eaves cornice. Window openings with moulded architraves; 12-pane sash windows to first and second floors. On ground floor, to R, wider sash window with marginal glazing bars; set in architrave. To L, late C19 or early C20 shopfront; doorway to R, end pilasters, fascia board with cornice over; later C20 tiled stallriser.
Old timber construction to ceiling; old stair in upper parts. Room to R of shop with early C19 cornice and panelled door.
Building of early origins retaining good late Georgian character. Strong Group Value with adjacent listed buildings.
