History

Early C17 house consisting of a hall and parlour, together with an outer room having its own stair, above which was a first-floor fireplace. A single-storey dairy was added to the original parlour early C18. The house was divided into 2 dwellings mid C20.

Interior

Not inspected at time of survey (August 1997), but said to retain fireplace stairs and post-and-panel partition between hall and parlour.

Reasons for Listing

Listed for the special interest of its origins as a good example of a traditional Breconshire farm house of C17, retaining good original detail.
