Rubble stone retaining wall below cottage, built partly on bedrock. Uncertain date.
Retaining wall and parapet on an outcrop of natural rock, in front of No 3, wall descending to right on line of steps to No 3. Much higher towards left due to slope of road, top stepped down towards No 2.
Included for group value with the rubble wall of Monkton Old Hall opposite and the retaining walls to Nos 1 and 2 to left, which together give special character to the street.
