Built late C18 as part of the improvements made to the grounds of Llanidan House by Thomas Williams, tenant.
Dry-built wall of local stone. Built on NW faces of the ditch enclosing the garden S and E of the house. Parts of the ditch are excavated directly into the rock outcrop.
Included as a good example of a late C18 ha-ha, associated with the adjacent Llanidan House with which it forms a group.
