History

Probably late C18, built following the reclamation of the Cleifiog sands in 1776.

Exterior

Slightly hump-backed single-span bridge of rubble masonry; with arch of roughly squared voussoirs slightly recessed below extrados course of narrow slabs. Rough parapet. A slate slab with bench mark, dated 1874, was presumably affixed to the bridge by the Ordinance Survey.
