Built as one of a pair with No 5 in the early C19 and shown on the 1841 Tithe map.
A late-Georgian 3-storey 3-window house of distinctive large coursed blocks of unworked rubble stone with stone lintels, beneath a slate roof on overhanging eaves, with stone end stacks, shared to the L. The central entrance has a replacement panel door, flanked by replacement 12-pane horned sash windows. Middle and upper storey have small-pane top-hung casement windows inserted into original openings.
Not inspected.
Listed, notwithstanding unsympathetic window replacement, as a late Georgian house retaining definite early C19 character, and for its contribution with other buildings in Corbet Square, Red Lion Street and Maengwyn Street, to the historical integrity of the old town centre.
