History

Mid C19 (not shown on John Wood’s 1834 map) built to serve the Madryn Arms Hotel which was later the Post Office.

Exterior

2-storey rubble range comprising coach house to ground floor and loft accommodation for the servants above; slate roof and brick chimney stacks. Some modern alterations. Formerly 4 segmental arched coach entrances with brick voussoirs, the right hand two have been combined into a modern open garage but the left hand two retain their double boarded door.

Stable range at right angles has been modernised; linked by a brick arched gateway.
