History

Early C17, reconstructed 1663. Modernisation includes rear wing with gabled cross-range.

Exterior

Rendered 1-storey and attic farmhouse, slate roofs with three gabled dormers, rendered brick chimney to left gable end and larger chimney to centre . One casement windows to left, french windows to right and modern, gabled porch with rubble plinth off-centre left. Rear with linking range to 2-storey cross-gabled wing in rendered style of main house.

Interior

Originally a one-room plan. Large hearth with chamfered stone jambs in right-hand room (up steps). Passage leads back from off-centre entrance within modern porch.

Listed as a sub-medieval farmhouse which has retained its vernacular character and plan form to main range.
