Early C19 with a late C19 and C20 shopfront.
Rendered and painted front with a natural slate roof. Double depth central entry plan. Three storeys, two windows with quoin pilasters and a band at second floor level. Mainly C20 full width shopfront with central entrance, flanking display windows and large Victorian scroll brackets at either end of the fascia. Upper floors have 8 over 8 pane sashes. Deep eaves, low pitch roof with red brick stack on left gable.
Rear elevation not inspected.
Interior not seen at resurvey. The ground floor has been altered in the C20.
Included for its special interest as a well preserved early C19 frontage retaining its character, which has strong group value with the other historic buildings in the centre of Abergavenny.
