Dated 1628, and the earliest surviving monument in St Mwrog's Churchyard. There are some C18 monuments, including 2 engraved slabs to the S of the tower, the rest are C19.
Stone grave slab at ground level, with decoration in relief. Towards the centre is a date of 162/ within an incised rectangular border. At the top is an emblem in relief with fleur-de-lis type detail. Around the slab, a border in relief containing letters which are no longer legible. In fairly poor condition.
Listed as a rare survival of an early C17 churchyard monument. Group value with the Church of St Mwrog and surrounding churchyard structures.
