Probably C19. Minor buildings added at rear, which are now largely ruined.
A lofted stable range facing west to the farmyard. At front (west) and in the left gable wall, facing the house, the masonry is local hammer-dressed uncoursed limestone, elsewhere local slatey rubble with limestone quoins. Asbestos roof. The front elevation has two loft windows against the eaves. The lower storey has two doors and three small windows, all with segmental arched heads formed with dressed voussoirs. Loft door in south gable (but no outside stairs remain). To the rear is a small bakehouse or groom's lodge in similar rubble stone, now re-roofed in slate.
An early C19 stable range which has retained its character and part of a good farmstead group with Plas-yr-esgob.
