The cross has been variously dated at between the C9 and the C12.
A tapering shaft c2m in height, with rounded angles carries the remains of a cross head with inter-lace decoration. Low-relief of a small cross on the E face of the shaft which is raised on a rough circular base. This base stone was formerly supported on 4 or 5 rough stones, which were recorded by Pennant, but which had gone by 1902.
A fine example of a decorated churchyard cross.
Scheduled Ancient Monument, Ref. Me 52.
