Vernacular single-span road bridge of the late C18 or early C19; of limestone rubble construction. Segmental arch with rough-dressed voussoirs recessed beneath an arch-ring of narrow stones. Modern stone buttressing to the S. The carriageway is humped and has rubble parapets, splayed at the approaches and with square terminating piers; cement coping with plain C20 railings. Later buttressing to SE (upstream) side with adjacent flight of stone steps descending to the field on the SE river-bank.
Listed for its special interest as a late C18 or early C19 vernacular road bridge.
