History

Early C19 barn of white-washed stone with slated roof, dated on one truss 1812.

Exterior

Large off-centre entrance (to R) with cambered arch and rough-dressed voussoirs; modern boarded doors, externally hung. Vertical ventilation slits flank this in pairs in 2 tiers. Similar, opposing entrance to rear, with a later C19 rubble lean-to to the L; slated roof. The R gable has further paired vents in 4 tiers. A modern barn adjoins to the rear and a corrugated iron shed to the L gable. Weather-vane to L gable.

Interior

Four-bay roof with strutted king-post trusses, one with the carved date 1812 and the initials 'RE'.
