Dated 1677, on a plaque largely defaced but originally inscribed with the names of Henry Vaughan and Owen Williams, churchwardens, Restored in 1907, the wooden gate on the outer face was probably added at this time.
A plain gabled porch of rough rubble stone with slate roof. Round-headed archway in each gable end.
A rare example of a C17 lychgate which is an important component in the context of the church of Saint Trillo.
