History

Early C19 single-span road bridge.

Exterior

Rubble construction with flat, parapetted carriageway. Segmental arch with rough-dressed voussoirs, slightly recessed below an archring of narrow stones; projecting keystone. Plain stringcourse beneath slab-coped parapets; this is carried on to flanking, battered 2-stage buttresses, which are slightly splayed outwards.

Included as a good typical example of an early C19 road bridge.
