1936. Columnar pillar box with swept frieze to shallow domed cap, dentilled at rim. Situated at prominent corner site. Red and black painted cast iron. Deep base, shaft with face to E forming door, with cup handle and lock. Rectangular opening above. Door with EVIIIR in raised Gothic script with crown above and POST OFFICE below.
