Late 18th century single storey 3-bay simple traditional East Neuk terraced cottage with central door. Small monopitch extension to rear. White painted lined-out render to street (south) elevation. Openings stop-chamfered.
Pantiled pitched roof with single modern rooflights to both street and garden elevations. Single skewputt now incorporated into Edina Cottage to east. 12-pane timber sash and case windows to street elevation, pair to bottom right with two crown glass 'bullseye' panes.
INTERIOR: modernised.
A traditional East Neuk cottage, and, unusually for Routine Row, it has remained single storey. Of particular note is the vernacular pantiled roof and the two panes of 'bullseye' crown glazing. The interior originally had box beds which were removed as part of modernisation in the 20th century.
This building makes a positive streetscape contribution to Routine Row due to its nearly intact external form and appearance.
