Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay (above ground) shop and office premises closing terrace to W. Whitewashed render with stone cill to E. Base course, ground floor frieze and cornice, band course and eaves cornice. Timber transoms and mullions.
SE (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: symmetrical above ground. Large display windows with multi-pane toplights to centre and left bays, and door to outer left; smaller window to right with 2-leaf timber door beyond to outer right, both with multi-pane top lights; all surmounted by frieze and cornice with moulded bracket and stop-chamfered angle to outer right. Finialled transomed bipartite oriel window to centre at 1st floor, windows in flanking bays and finialled canted dormer windows above linked by band of decorative cast-iron brattishing, this repeated at roof ridge.
NE (UPPER ALLAN STREET) ELEVATION: gabled elevation with single window to right at 1st floor.
Multi-pane upper sashes over plate glass and 4-pane glazing patterns all in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Coped rendered stack with polygonal cans to SW. Square-section cast-iron downpipe with decorative rainwater hopper; decorative cast-iron finials and brattishing.
Group with Nos 3-9 and 11-15 High Street. Formerly Blairgowrie Post Office, with a telephone kiosk sited at the left doorway.
