John McIntyre, 1907. 2-storey, 4-bay symmetrical pair of semi-detached villas with finialled, piend-roofed 2-storey canted windows to outer bays; swept roof to 2 low tripartite dormers, descending to form porch canopy supported by cast-iron column to centre. Squared and snecked stugged sandstone with red sandstone ashlar dressings. Stringcourse to canted bays. Broad bracketted eaves. Long and short quoins. Timber panelled doors with 3-pane glazed fanlights in tabbed surrounds to centre bays.
6-pane upper-sashes, plate glass lower in timber sash and case windows to canted bays. 6-pane casements to dormers. Piended roof. Graded grey slates. Tall tapered corniced stacks breaking eaves to side elevations; tall cylindrical cans.
A well-designed suburban house on one of the main roads out of Edinburgh, still retaining the original glazing. 128 and 130 Willowbrae road were built as a matching pair, but now have non-traditional glazing.
