Although modest, the importance of this building (which is currently redundant, 2001) stems from its age, that it forms part of the streetscape of Little Causeway and also the retention of its clay pantiled roof which is a typical feature in Culross. The building may have been truncated to the S. For brief history of Culross Burgh see Culross, The Cross, The Study.
