Description

Circa 1820. 2-storey, 2-bay, rectangular-plan, gabled house. Harled, coursed Caithness stone slabs, lined as ashlar. Long and short quoins. Regular fenestration. door to centre; flanking pilasters, tall pedimented hood. Stugged margins to openings.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slates, coped gable stacks, cast-iron rainwater goods.

The Group listing is in recognition of the exceptional group value of these buildings as the core of Thomas Telford's 1809 scheme for the new town plan of Pulteneytown for the British Fisheries Society.
