Description

Standard Edinburgh police box by City Architects Department (E J MacRae, City Architect), designed probably late 1930's. Classical rectangular cast-iron box 6ft by 4ft on plan. 2-bay pilastered long elevations, one with door (with embossed City arms). Single bay short elevations surmounted by open pediments containing ribboned wreath decoration. Saltire patterned glazing to all elevations. Siren to roof.
