Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay, rectangular plan tenement with shops to ground, yellow ashlar sandstone, large canted gable dormers, tripartite windows.

SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical, regular fenestration plain dividing band between ground and first; tripartite segmental arch windows, engaged column mullions with corinthian capitals, plain, projected architraves with keystones; plain eaves course, projecting cornice; modern shop front to ground

NE (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular fenestration, squared sandstone; forestair to left with wooden lean-to porch; square-plan stair tower to right, piended roof.

SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by abutting building.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank, partially obscured by abutting building.

Modern double glazing; grey slates, lead ridges, coped sandstone stacks to gable ends and ridge.

INTERIOR: modern shop fittings.
